This WebQuest is based on
the simple belief that requiring
students to look for information themselves – with appropriate help –
will make
the task more enjoyable and the facts they find more memorable.
This WebQuest is a simplification of
the classical WebQuest
format. It is designed as
a preliminary task for a projected, experimental
online film appreciation course
for university students of English as a foreign language in the
[NOTE...(February 2005)
Several last-minute deletions have been made for copyright and similar
reasons. This webquest will eventually be substantially revised.]
The full
course will include a viewing of the film, live discussion with
follow-up
discussion on a dedicated email list and written assignments.
Some of the
tables developed a will of their own,
and neither their width nor some of
the vertical lines and elongated boxes are what their human creator
wished for.
